Job Description:

A Punchlist Technician at Bureau Builders is a versatile professional who excels in various aspects of renovation work. They possess a deep understanding of construction practices, building codes, and safety protocols, enabling them to perform tasks across multiple trades with precision and efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in bringing our client's visions to life. Working with a dynamic team, you will be responsible for executing renovation projects with precision and finesse. Your tasks will span a wide range of trades. Every day will bring new challenges and opportunities to create stunning transformations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks across multiple trades, including but not limited to carpentry, roofing, flooring, tiling, painting, drywalling, concrete work, masonry, grading, demolition, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general labor.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, building codes, and industry best practices.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Meeting project milestones
  • Train & supervise young carpenters & apprentices
  • Cover materials ordering & tracking
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and trade partners to ensure project expectations are met.
  • Provide detailed daily job logs to include a daily crew planner and weekly outlook reports
  • Ability to step up and run jobs.

Qualifications:

  • A can-do attitude.
  • Proven Experience with residential and/or commercial projects (Renovations & new builds) is required. 5+ years of experience with references is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • A great attitude and adaptable mindset.
  • Honesty and reliability.
  • Great communication skills to liaise with teams, customers, other trades, and organizations.
  • Own a Basic tool kit
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work on various types of projects.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Quality and tidy workmanship skills.
  • Valid Drivers License and be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Drug-free.
